No "big business" here! I'm a hobby breeder who currently has only four pair, so I have plenty of time for nurturing babies. And I just LOVE babies! I hand-raise them from the time they are ten days old. You'll notice that I said "hand-raising" instead of "hand-feeding" because there's a BIG difference. Hand-raising includes much cuddle and play time so that my babies are well-socialized companions when they go to their new homes.
They are also allowed to wean when they are ready - I never force wean and they are introduced to all kinds of foods right from the start. I allow them to fledge (fly) in order to gain confidence and muscle tone.

 A very light blue , dark eyed bird which results from breeding a Yellow split to Blue bird with a Blue split for Yellow bird.
